Several people were injured in a two-alarm fire at a Williamsburg apartment building Monday morning.
Fire officials say the fire sparked around 9:30 a.m. on the second floor of the building located at 314 S. Third St.
Officials say a total of 10 people suffered minor injuries. They say residents had to use the fire escapes to get out of their apartments.
Officials say all 35 apartment units inside the six-story building were evacuated, and between three and five of the apartments were damaged.
The Red Cross was on the scene helping victims as fire crews worked to get the flames under control.
