Citizen video shows flames bursting through a sixth-floor apartment window in Bay ridge on Monday as crews break through windows to try and contain the flames.
The frightening scene unfolded at 9949 Shore Rd. and was caught on video by neighbors at around 1 a.m.
The fire can be seen intensifying and breaking through a second window, as smoke billows out of multiple other apartment windows.
News 12 has reached out to the FDNY about any injuries and cause of the fire.
