Firefighters were on scene battling a two-alarm blaze inside an East New York home Tuesday.

The FDNY says crews responded to 331 Van Siclen Ave. just after 5:30 p.m.

Flames erupted on the second floor of the two-story home and spread to the attic.

Citizen app footage shows orange flames shooting from the home as black smoke billows into the air above.

The blaze was contained in just over an hour, according to fire officials. No one was injured.

The Red Cross is assisting eight residents with financial aid. Five of those residents also received emergency housing.
