It has been 13 years since the 2001 terror attacks, but Brooklyn residents News 12 spoke with remember the day like it was yesterday.
Jim Molinell, a firefighter on Ladder 169, arrived at ground zero as the second tower came down. He says he still can't believe it was 13 years ago.
The FDNY lost 343 men and women that day. To honor them Molinell started holding a ceremony, where they read each members' name. He says the attendees continue to grow in number each year.
Police at the 60th Precinct also held roll call for the 23 NYPD officers who died 13 years ago.
