Nearly 2ft of snowfall reported across the city. This was the 9th biggest snowstorm in recorded history in Central Park, with 19.7" reported. Unfortunately, more snow is in the forecast this week. A quick moving clipper system will bring a coating to an inch of snow after 2AM overnight through 10AM tomorrow morning. A stray rain shower possible during the afternoon before sky conditions improve with breezy conditions during the evening. Slippery travel is expected.
Another storm system will bring a chance of a wintry mix Thursday evening through the overnight. Slushy snow/ice is possible for the Thursday evening commute. As of now, most of the storm stays South of NYC. However, if the track shifts North, we can see slightly more snowfall. We'll know more details after tomorrow's storm passes. We catch a break from the active weather pattern Friday into the weekend with highs climbing to the 40s with plenty of sunshine.
