After only being open for less than a year, a Brooklyn yoga studio came in third in News 12's Fitness Face-off.
Pure Life Movement Studio in Dyker Heights has been voted by the viewers as the best yoga studio in Brooklyn.
The owner Samantha Stangarone says she was shocked to find out she had been voted for News 12’s Fitness Face-off.

After a dancing injury, Stangarone’s physical therapist recommended she do yoga. She fell in love with how it helped to heal her body and wanted others to experience the benefits.

“Pure Life Movement Studio was opened in June of 2018, so we are still very new,” says Stangarone.

That small amount of time was enough to make an impact in the community.  Now, many are coming to the studio to stretch, breathe and focus.
“A lot of people don't think of yoga as an exercise form, you know, it can be a moving meditation, it can be what you do for fun, it can be what you do for fitness. It's personal,” says Stangarone.
