Vendors from the Flatbush Caton Market met with officials to discuss their concerns that it is taking too long to move back to their original location.
The vendors claim the developer behind their new building isn't keeping promises. They say it is taking too long to move back and they are not being helped with advertising as promised.
They moved to a temporary location back in January when work started on the 14-story development. The vendors are supposed to return to the first floor with apartments on top. They say they are worried they will lose business if the move doesn't happen soon.
"We had a lot of promises that the developer was supposed to come through for us in promoting our business, marketing our business and they haven't meet that," says vendor Oswald Bowman.
News 12 was told the developer did not attend the meeting because he was out of town. News 12 reached out to him for an update and is waiting to hear back.
