Another day of hazy, hot and humid weather kicked off the work week in the Bronx.
News 12 Brooklyn Meteorologist Darryl Green says temperatures reached the mid-90s in some areas and dew point levels in the mid-60s made it feel like nearly 100 degrees.
A severe thunderstorm watch was issued for the Bronx until 8 p.m. Monday.
Temperatures will be in the mid-70s overnight and will break on Tuesday with highs in the 80s.
