The Brooklyn Supreme Court has banned former reBar owner Jason Stevens from the New York City restaurant industry.
Last month, Stevens pleaded guilty to grand larceny and criminal tax fraud. He reportedly owes about $6 million in taxes, as well as thousands in deposits to couples who were planning weddings at the DUMBO venue.
In addition to the lifetime ban, a judge ordered Stevens to pay more than $1 million in restitution, civil penalties and statutory costs.
