Free flu shots are being offered to Brooklyn residents at the Homecrest Health Center.Officials from the city Department of Health say high-risk residents, including seniors and children between 6 months and 5 years old, should be vaccinated before December. They also say there are more doses available this year than ever before so patients do not have to worry about a shortage. The center is located at 1601 Avenue S and is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Children between the ages of 4 and 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.Related Information: Immunization Walk-In Clinics
