Free swimming lessons offered in the Bronx ahead of Memorial Day

Asphalt Green is a nonprofit organization that offers swimmers of all ages the chance to learn from expert instructors at free or low cost.

Drowning is the second leading cause of unintentional injury death for children ages 5-14 years old, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,

Asphalt Green wants to make sure everyone has the opportunity to learn drowning prevention tips.
