Temperatures plunge Thursday night into Friday morning. Lows will be in the teens and low 20s and feel colder.
It's already cold out there now, and wind will pick up throughout Thursday making it feel extra icy.
The wind will relax as we head into Friday, but that thermometer will continue to read colder and colder. Friday's high temperature? Around freezing. That is the warmest! Grab all the layers and cold weather attire because the end of the work and school week will feel bitter.
We aren't tracking any major rain or snow. Thursday could see a few stray flurries, and Friday night has a very low chance of some additional light snow.
Right now, the storm that would bring us any festive feeling weather is trending more and more to the south, likely pulling us out of the area that will see any precipitation. It will certainly feel like winter with highs in the low 30s and lows in the 20s.
