Crème and Cocoa Creamery is bringing a Caribbean taste to Prospect Lefferts Gardens.

The family owned shop is located on Nostrand Avenue.

The creamery says it invites customers in to savor the flavors of the Caribbean through ice cream without leaving the borough.

Ice cream enthusiasts can enjoy classic tastes or try something that's inspired by the treats street merchants sell on the islands, such as passion fruit or sorrel.

"I'm native from Panama, so in a cart you would have someone selling it in an icy form or a drink form, we made it into a sorbet," says co-owner Omar Thorpe.

The owners say they plan on launching a delivery service for the five boroughs in September.
