2ds agoA wanted fugitive is being held at the Ulster County Jail without bail over a 2019 assault case.
Saugerties police say they arrested AJ Brown, who is from Massachusetts, while conducting a warrant investigation.
They found him in the Hamlet of Glasco in the Town of Saugerties.
Brown was wanted by the state of Maryland in an assault on a women on I-95.
Brown was arraigned in the Town of Saugerties Justice Court on the charge of being a fugitive from justice.
He is now awaiting extradition proceedings.
