A new ice cream parlor in Gowanus is serving up some funky flavors.

The popular Ample Hills Creamery from Prospect Heights opened up its second location in an industrial-sized, two-story warehouse on Nevins Street, just steps away from the Gowanus Canal. The gourmet ice cream shop has 24 flavors, all made fresh on site.

The creamery has some old favorites as well as new flavors, including "It Came From Gowanus," named after the famous canal.

The owners say the new shop will likely quadruple their production and hopefully expand their sales.
