A chicken wing restaurant in Crown Heights will soon be serving up sweet and spicy flavors.
The Brooklyn Wing House is slated to open Saturday and owner Aundre Spaulding says his wing flavors are all original.
"I feel like this neighborhood compliments the restaurant, you know, we got Caribbean flavors and, you know, American flavors so it's just a great location for us and the food traffic," he says.
Spaulding says he's a foodie, and his unique appetite matches the flavor of his wings.
"We don't have the normal wing flavors. We have mango sirraccha infused habanero, so [there’s] nowhere you can go and have that except here," he says.
The restaurant even pays homage to the late Notorious B.I.G. with a signature fired catfish sandwich served with collared greens, smoked turkey neck, sweet pepper corn gravy and a cheddar bay biscuit.
Brooklyn Wing House will hold its grand opening on Saturday at 1218 Union St.
