After 23 years, one Marine Park bakery is still going strong, turning out thousands of Italian pastries each week and attracting a loyal clientele.

Numerous baked goods like tarts, cookies, cakes and pies are made in the kitchen of Michael's Pastries.

Owner Salvatore di Lenardo has run the shop with his partners from nearby Michael's Restaurant for two decades and says his cannolis are still the top seller.

The staff is on a first-name basis with many customers and packs up boxes of sweets every day.
