A fundraiser was held Saturday for Bensonhurst's New Utrecht Reformed Church with the money going toward restoration costs.
The church needs to raise another $250,000 to complete construction. A reported $1 million has already been spent on the project.
The ceiling has been redone and the entire building has been rewired.
Church members gave free tours of the sanctuary Saturday during a Blessing of the Pets event.
The church was originally founded in 1677 and is the fourth oldest church congregation in Brooklyn.
