Funeral held for 16-year-old Stepinac High School student killed in hit-and-run

Family and friends said a final goodbye Friday to Christopher Jack (CJ) Hackett - the 16-year-old Stepinac High School student killed in a hit-and-run last week.
Police say DPW worker Stephen Dolan was driving under the influence and fled the scene of the accident.
Funeral services were held at St. Barnabas Church in the Bronx.
"CJ had the most angelic smile," says friend Bernadette Gavin. "He's left us too soon. I'm still in a state of shock."
CJ, the oldest of three children, loved to play basketball and video games.
Friends tell News 12 they will miss his funny and outgoing personality. "CJ worked at Gavin's Irish Country Inn for my sister, and he worked with my daughter Kathleen. They were all friends, and he was the most amazing waiter in the world. He lit the whole place up. Everybody loved him. And when you walked in there, he would make sure everyone felt welcomed and special," says friend Mary Gavin.
Dolan's bail was lowered to half a million dollars by a Westchester County judge. He is charged with leaving the scene of an accident with a fatality and faces up to seven years in prison.
