An NYPD detective and U.S. service man killed in a suicide attack in Afghanistan was laid to rest today.
Family, friends and colleagues gathered to pay their respects to Detective Joseph Lemm at Saint Patrick's Cathedral Wednesday morning.
The 45-year-old was killed by a suicide bomber along with five other U.S. troops.
He served on the Bronx warrant squad since 2014.
Lemm was a 15-year veteran of the NYPD.
