A stretch of the G train is now partially closed as the MTA prepares to do some upgrades to the line over the summer.
The goal is to modernize the G by replacing the old signal to communication-based train control. This expects to make the line safer, faster, and more reliable.
Commuters will have to use a temporary shuttle bus service, the B94.
