The national average price of gasoline has risen 10.8 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.06 per gallon today.
The national average is up 23.9 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 95.6 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
GasBuddy found the cheapest station in Connecticut was priced at $3.79 per gallon yesterday, while the most expensive was $5.09 per gallon.
Experts advise shopping around for cheaper prices if you can.
Make sure your car is in tip-top shape, including proper tire pressure, for better gas mileage.
