Gas prices are rising as the last big traveling weekend of the season approaches.
In the past month, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas has increased 29 cents nationally.
AAA says that the national average for a gallon of gas is $3.72, but in the city, many gas station prices are hovering near $4.
