Giants kicker Gano placed on COVID-19 list amid career year
Giants kicker Graham Gano was placed on the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday.
The Giants issued a statement before announcing that Gano was on the list. They said they had been notified that a player tested positive.
Gano had been enjoying a quite a great season as the team heads into the bye week. So far, he has missed only one of his 38 kicks; he has made all 16 of his PATs and 21 of 22 field goal attempts for 79 points. His .955 percentage on field goals is a career best.
The team extended his contract after their most recent victory against the Eagles.
There is a chance Gano can still play in their next game on Nov. 29 vs. the Cincinnati Bengals if he clears the reserve/COVID-19 list.
