Police are investigating a strange robbery attempt that sounds like something straight out of a comic book.

Police say a man wearing a green mask and a cape came into the Days Inn on 36th Street at around 4 a.m. on Friday. Police say the man had a knife and yelled, "Give me the money" to an employee at the front desk.

Police say the man then fled empty-handed. They say no one was hurt.

Police say the costumed man is still on the loose.
