Parishioners of a local church are celebrating their new Bedford-Stuyvesant home after a fire damaged their previous location.
In April, the original Brownsville location of Global Fire International was ravaged by fire, but members say they had faith that it would not be the end of their church. The following month, an anonymous donor provided the church's new location.
The new location has been used for worship since late June.
Members say the experience has taught them about perseverance, trust and that they should never give up on what they believe in. They say they have also seen an increase in number of people visiting the church since moving.
