In Bay Ridge, residents can take advantage of a number of inexpensive shops and services.
Bay Ridge is an up and coming neighborhood that residents say has reason to be proud. There are parks for relaxation and affordable businesses for day-to-day needs.
The Laundry King on Fourth and Marine avenues offers free pickup and delivery service and free Wi-Fi. Owner Tom Kay says he'll also most likely reduce the $2.75 charge for 18-pound machines to $1.99.
Another neighborhood stop is Frank and Eddie's Meat Market. Founder Frank Mannarino's shop has offered fresh cuts and prepared foods at reasonable prices since 1960. Mannarino says the secret to his business' longevity is presenting good quality meat for low prices.
