Good news for drivers trying to get on the Garden State Parkway in Monmouth County -- emergency repairs are completed at the on-ramp to exit 105 near Eatontown and Tinton Falls.
A sinkhole opened Tuesday afternoon at the ramp coming from Route 36 to the parkway northbound, forcing drivers to take a long detour.  Crews worked more than 12 hours repairing the damaged ramp at the intersection.
Back in the spring, crews began replacing several of the overpasses, forcing closures of some of the ramps.
The other closures from the long-term construction will remain in place into 2023.
The cause of the sinkhole is unknown at this time.
