Some storm, shower chances possible this weekend

WHAT’S NOW: A mix of clear skies and clouds overnight and plenty of sun and clouds to kick off the weekend!
WHAT’S NEXT: An unsettled weekend with pop-up showers and storms. Best rain chance is Monday, watching closely.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Meredith Garofalo says there are some rain and storm chances this weekend, but you'll still have breaks to catch some sun at the beach or on the boat.
FORECAST:

OVERNIGHT: Partly cloudy with lows around 67. 


SATURDAY: Clouds with some breaks of sun. Chance for a couple of showers during the afternoon and evening, maybe an isolated storm. Most of the day is dry. Highs around 84. Lows around 70. 

SUNDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy with a few showers. Pop-up storms possible. Highs around 86. Lows around 72. 
MONDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH - Mostly cloudy with periods of showers and even storms. Highs around 86. Lows around 72. 

REST OF NEXT WEEK: HEAT ALERT-- A potential prolonged heat wave with forecast highs in the low-90s possibly starting Tuesday.
