Gov. Kathy Hochul is pledging additional funding to transform mental health care in New York by investing in addiction treatment services.
Hochul says many New Yorkers are dealing with these co-occuring issues and often have to go to two different places for treatment. Her office hopes to change that by opening more centers that can offer integrated care.
Hochul says she plans to add 13 new behavioral health clinics across the state, including seven which will be built upstate.
