(03/26/06) PARK SLOPE - For over a century one Brooklyn landmark has served the community. Opened in 1892 Grand Prospect Hall has seen it all. Through the years, the hall has served as an opera house, a film set and even as an illegal bar during the prohibition era. Lovingly restored to its former glory by its current owners, the Hall is best known now for hosting wedding receptions. The owners say they hold eight weddings a week including weekends. The hall also has its own gourmet chef and outdoor waterfall.
