The Junior High School 126 principal is recovering Thursday after police say two students beat him up at school.
According to police, a 14-year-old student approached the principal Wednesday and punched him. Police say another student then beat and kicked the principal while he was on the floor. The 14-year-old student was taken into custody and questioned. Police are still looking for the second student.
There is no word on what sparked the confrontation. No charges have been filed against the teen. However, the teen could face juvenile charges of assault and possible suspension from school.
