A Bronx group held a peer mediation meeting today, allowing teens from across the borough to discuss problems with each other in a nonviolent way.
Effective Alternative in Reconciliation Services (EARS), the group behind the meeting, hopes it helps put an end to teen violence in The Bronx.
The teens spent the day learning problem-solving skills before hashing out long-standing feuds.
EARS has worked with thousands of Bronx teens since it began in 1985.
