Police say a known group of suspects have resurfaced in new video showing a woman getting robbed in Pelham Bay. According to officers, the group of people attacked and robbed six different people in less than two hours.
Video shows someone roll up on a moped. A few seconds later, they are seen pulling a purse or bag out of a person's hands. The victim tries to chase after them and that’s when police say one of the suspects punches her in the face.
Video also shows them during their final attack, making it the sixth time they’d struck. All of this happened between 1 a.m. and 2:20 a.m. last Wednesday.
The incidents took place at five locations within the Crotona Park East area. As for the victims, police say they were all women between the ages of 23 - 35 years old.
