A group of Brooklyn renters rallied outside Borough Hall Monday to decry rising rents, displacement and gentrification.
Members of the Rent Justice Coalition marched to the Rent Guidelines Board meeting to demand a rent rollback.
Last June, the nine-member board implemented a historic one-year rent freeze for rent-stabilized tenants, the first of its kind in the board's 46-year history.
It affects tenants whose leases are up for renewal between Oct. 1, 2015 and Sept. 30, 2016.
Members of the coalition say the measure did not go far enough.
