A Brooklyn woman has undertaken a frantic effort to find a treasured family heirloom. She's hoping you can help.
Sandra Bueno lost a ring that once belonged to her grandmother, whom she says was like a second mother to her. She passed away when Bueno was 11, and the ring was given to Bueno's mother, who later gave it to her.
About a week and a half ago, she says she started to panic when she realized the ring was missing. She believes it may have fallen out of her pocket on the A train on the way to work.
Since then, she's been hanging flyers in as many A trains as she can. She's also created an Instagram page in hopes that someone will know where it is.
Bueno is offering a reward to the person who reunites her with the sentimental piece. Anyone who knows where the ring is can reach Bueno at MyGrandmaRing@gmail.com.
