NOW AND NEW: Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Steve Teeling says it looks like it will remain hazy, hot and humid through the week with highs in the low- to mid-90s. Overnight will see warm and muggy conditions with lows in the mid-70s. Thursday will be much of the same with highs in the low-90s and the heat index in the upper-90s. A heat advisory will be in effect on Thursday until 8 p.m. Scattered storms are possible Thursday afternoon and evening with the potential for a few of them to be strong to severe.
NEXT: The heat is on this week, and it will last through the weekend as well. Highs in the 90s until further notice with high humidity also. Some scattered thunderstorms are also possible tomorrow afternoon, and then again on Sunday and Monday.
