HBO's hit show "Girls" filmed at La Vue Restaurant and Lounge in Sheepshead Bay Tuesday.
The show's next season will be its sixth and final season.
Residents and visitors in the area said they were excited to see the cast and crew at work.
Some fans said they were happy the show filmed an episode in Sheepshead Bay and not Williamsburg. They said the publicity may bring more people to the neighborhood.
"This whole area was hit by [Superstorm] Sandy, so all these places were destroyed and now being rebuilt," said resident Christopher Lasasso. "It's really good to see them being used for something as big as an HBO series."
