State health officials have confirmed Connecticut's second case of human West Nile virus this summer.
The Health Department says the patient is a New Haven County man between 30 and 40 years old.
He was admitted to the hospital earlier this month and is improving.
The Health Department says residents should take precaution against mosquito bites until the first hard frost of the fall.
