excessive heat warning for NYC through 9 p.m. Friday. Feels-like temperatures exceed 105 degrees for at least two hours Thursday and Friday. The heat is dangerous!
News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Darryl Green says there will be
sweltering heat and humidity Thursday into Saturday.
There's also an air quality alert in effect today through 11 p.m. for the high heat, humidity and sunshine that combines with daily pollution to create a stifling environment. This is especially hazardous to sensitive groups of people today.
