Downpours are expected to taper off across NYC Wednesday morning.
Heavy rain began around 10:30 p.m.and continued through the early morning hours, creating a risk for flash flooding. A flood advisory for the Bronx, Queens and Manhattan was in effect until 7 a.m.
News 12 meteorologists say rain will taper off around 10 a.m.
The remainder of Wednesday will be partly cloudy with highs near 71 degrees.
