Teams have finally reached the playoffs in high school football two full years since the last "normal" postseason in New York City.
Erasmus Hall has won the last two PSAL city championships, and they are the favorites to make it a three-peat.
The Dutchmen, on Saturday, wrapped up an undefeated regular season with a 21-6 win over Midwood. Dutchmen have been number one in our 12's Top Twelve Poll.
Monsignor Farrell remains number two while Curtis jumps from five to three after beating Tottenville.
Poly Prep joins the top half of the poll for the first time all season.
FDR appears to be the cream of the crop in the PSAL's cup division as they're number one seed in the city-wide playoffs. FDR beat Columbus 32-0 to advance to the quarterfinals. FDR is not in our rankings yet, but they could be closing in on a top 12 spot.
Four Brooklyn teams - Canarsie, Midwood, Lincoln and Madison - occupy the seven through ten spots in this week's poll.
The high school football playoffs continue in New York City in two days.
