Police are hunting for the driver who hit a fellow police officer on patrol in Williamsburg Monday.
Authorities said the uniformed officer was walking near S. 11th Street and Kent Avenue when a speeding silver Honda Odyssey struck him before midnight. The driver then sped off.
A witness said the officer, whose identity has not been released, was curled up in the street with a head wound and was coughing up blood.
The cop was taken to Bellevue Hospital.
There's no word on whether nearby surveillance cameras will yield any clues.
