Holiday lights at the Bronx Zoo set to make return with new forest of color

Family-favorite activities from the past such as ice carving, stilt walkers, wildlife theater performances, the holiday train and seasonal treats will also be there.

The Bronx Zoo is officially flipping the switch on its iconic holiday lights. 
The Bronx Zoo holiday lights has always been a family favorite not just in the Bronx, but for families all over the boroughs. 
This year’s lights will be a fully outdoor experience and will include five safari lanterns that represent animals from different regions. 
You can also expect to see a brand-new larger than life forest of color. 
Family-favorite activities from the past such as ice carving, stilt walkers, wildlife theater performances, the holiday train and seasonal treats will also be there. 
The holiday lights will be up from Nov. 19 to Jan. 9. 
Tickets must be purchased in advance.
