- A HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK is in effect through this evening. Dangerous rip currents are expected at Brooklyn and Queens ocean-facing beached today.
- It's a damp, cooler and breezy start to the day. Temperatures are in the 60s.
- We received 0.3 - 2.5 inches of rainfall across the city with several reports of flash flooding.
- The rest of today will feel like Fall. Expect a few peeks of sunshine with gusty winds up to 25 mph. Highs will be in the low- to mid-70s.
- After a heat wave and soaking rain, we get some well-deserved sunshine, lower humidity and pleasantly warm temperatures in the 80s this weekend.
- The lovely stretch of weather continues through early next week before humidity picks up by the end of the week.
