A human hand has been discovered along a shoreline in Gravesend.
The body part was found in a desolate area of Calvert Vaux Park at around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, according to police. Its gender is not known.
Emergency crews responded and searched the waters, but the investigation is ongoing.
The medical examiner will also try to determine who the hand belongs to.
