A rally was held Thursday at Queens Borough Hall where protesters voiced their opinions about the possibility of the Supreme Court overturning the landmark Roe v. Wade case.
A Politico report released Monday revealed a draft opinion suggesting the U.S. Supreme Court could overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade case that legalized abortion nationwide.
Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr. and New York City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams are just two of the politicians who attended.
Richards says the fundamental human right of bodily autonomy is under attack and that Queens is fighting back.
