An egg giveaway was held Friday in Bed-Stuy.

FarmerJawn, Prince Abou's Butchery and Triple J Farm offered a total of 100 dozen free eggs to residents outside Brown Butter Craft Bar and Kitchen.

The eggs were all gone in a matter of 20 minutes.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, the two farms and butchery said in part, "Working people are the backbone of our communities, yet too often, relief isn’t made for us. So we’re doing what we can to pitch in."

The event took place as egg prices soared to over $15 in some places.

There will also be 100 dozen free eggs given away in Queens and Philadelphia.
