Friday was an exciting day for the graduating class at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine as they found out where they are headed next in their journey as medical professionals.
Match Day is a rite of passage for medical students as they make their way from students to practicing physicians.
A total of 173 graduating students at the college got to find out where they will be spending the next chapters of their career as medical interns, residents and their specialties.
The group of graduates spent the last two years training in COVID-19 hospital wards.
This has been the first time since the start of the pandemic that the college was able to hold the match day ceremony at this capacity.
