Runners took to the streets in Bedford-Stuyvesant Sunday to take on one of Brooklyn's longest-running races.
Hundreds of residents ran in the 10-kilometer race, which is in its 33rd year.
Organizers say the event celebrates the neighborhood's culture and history while promoting a healthy lifestyle.
News 12's own Crystal Walker had a role as master of ceremonies, passing out awards to the winners.
There was also a bike race and a run for children.
